BLANCA
“in my head this trip to Antarctica…”
Through this series, I wanted to highlight my artistic vision on the impact of global warming on our poles.
I worked like a composer on a score of intense, contrasting and cold colors in order to transport us to polar landscapes and raise awareness about the ecology of the place.
I wanted to capture the majesty of the glaciers, the purity of the snow and the transparency of the icebergs by playing on the vibration of colors (especially white) and inlays of materials such as glass or burlap.
Through these paintings, I want to remind you that the melting of the ice is a direct consequence of our actions and our life choices. He invites us to confront our own responsibility through an evocation of the beauty of nature, so fragile and so mysterious.
