Imagine a space where colors and materials know no bounds, and imagination reigns supreme. Time disappears. Children then unleash their full creative power through painting.

During this workshop, young artists will explore colors around a custom-made palette table I created and adapted for them, allowing them to handle brushes and paints. They can also dream and observe. Each child will progress at their own pace, connecting with their imaginary world. Dreaming and creating go hand in hand.

In a safe and supportive environment, children will be guided in their discoveries and encouraged to experiment, without judgment.
This workshop will be an opportunity to develop their fine motor skills, stimulate creativity, and boost their self-confidence.

Adults play a crucial role as facilitators and observers, as these workshops offer them the opportunity to observe each child’s behavior, creations, and relationship to space, painting, creativity, and working individually or in groups.

My role will be to guide and ensure the smooth running of the workshop in a relaxed atmosphere, so that children feel comfortable and confident, particularly with the use of paints and materials, and that everyone’s pace is respected within a supportive and creative environment.
I am available to early childhood professionals and parents after each workshop for discussion.

In this workshop, there will be no expectation of specific results, but rather an emphasis on slowness and exploration. These are essential elements for fostering creativity.

Once a month, on Saturday mornings, the Garage Atelier transforms into a creative research laboratory, and I’m delighted to welcome young artists ready to explore.

Each workshop is designed to encourage children’s personal expression and intuition. My role is to guide them in their playful and stimulating artistic exploration through the manipulation and experimentation of various mediums: pencils, inks, watercolors, collages, markers, gouache, pigments…

We work with themes that can be explored over several sessions, depending on each child’s interests and needs. Children can then develop their curiosity through artistic exploration at their own pace, with sessions focused on exploring the topics covered (examples of themes: working with blue or other colors, shapes, time, and depending on inspiration, individual desires, discussions in the workshop, or suggestions).

The environment is warm and stimulating, allowing children to express themselves freely and have the time to develop their creativity.

During these two days of immersion and exploration in visual arts, I invite you to unleash your imagination. I will introduce you to, or help you rediscover, a multitude of techniques and materials that I have learned throughout my own artistic journey.

You will explore the different facets of materials and discover how they can become a vehicle for artistic expression. You will also learn to manipulate different textures, play with colors, and bring your wildest ideas to life.

You will learn to:

• Handle various materials: different painting mediums, charcoal, chalk, markers, collage, etc.
• Develop your observation skills and play at being apprentice explorers
• Experiment with different visual arts techniques
