In this work, paint becomes flesh. Peau Bleue / Blue Skin explores the tension of a primal hunt in the heart of the ocean, where light fractures.
The use of a generous, textured oil paint creates a sensation of organic seething: predator and prey merge in a chromatic ballet of deep blues and electric highlights. The eye is irresistibly drawn into this vertical ascent, a silent and savage struggle that emerges from the total darkness of the abyss.
